We'd planned to hang out this night, but I hadn't heard from him - he never returned my call or texts. He just didn't seem like the type of guy to stand me up. Did something happen to him? Or did I really just get "NEXTed" by this dude I kinda liked? And of course I didn't have a smart phone at the time to check if he'd emailed me or what.
I actually did end up checking my email at my parents' place...no email...but something told me to go anyway...he just wouldn't stand me up like that...and what do ya know - there he was! His phone had died, and he was scrambling to email me (which he did - it came after I'd checked it).
Was a blast! Fun 6th date!
