Vendor Shoutouts

We had a blast at our destination wedding, and it couldn't have happened without the help of a gazillion peeps who provided services/products/general awesomeness! Here's a shout out to you! Thank you - we appreciate it!

In no particular order, and I am so sorry if I missed anyone - let me know!
  • Venues & Hotel
    • Mount Vernon Country Club, Golden, CO
      • Mary and Brett - thank you so much for catering to us hand and foot! You and your team did a great job for our ceremony and reception, and we thank you! And thank you to the chef for catering to our Indian food requests - it was all awesome! Total dream wedding!
    • Courtyard Denver West/Golden, CO
      • Matt and Audrey - thank you so much for hosting us at your hotel and for the Friday night dance party! We appreciate you and your team for having us and sorry we were a little louder than we should have been. You guys were awesome! Loved the Bridal Suite too - awesome!
  • Flowers - Mary Scheere
    • Oh my gosh they were absolutely gorgeous! My bouquet, the ladies bouquets, the boutineers - loved them all! Thank you for all of your work to make that happen! You're a doll and we love you!
  • Hair and make up
    • Rita J's Aveda Salon
      • My loves! Thank you, Tessa and your team for making us ladies look absolutely gorgeous! We had such a fun time on Saturday morning getting all dolled up. Thank you for your flexibility and hospitality! And thank you to Stacey for both Friday and Saturday - everyone loved that side hair thingy that you did (I've never done that, and it was awesome - so fun!). Thank your for making me look awesome on my wedding day!
  • Pictures
    • An Enchanted Day Photography
      • My love! Thank you Heather Gauthier (and your sweetie-poo, Travis)! You were amazing to work with and we so appreciate your talent and what you do. It's so obvious you enjoy what you do, and that is awesome! Dave and I were like "man, if they lived here (in MN), we'd totally hang out with you!" Loved the pictures, looking forward to seeing the wedding pictures, and I will def recommend you. Thank you!
  • DJ & Music
    • Elite DJ MC & Production
      • Hmmm...gonna be honest and say that I'm not sure we would recommend them again, BUT, our DJ made up for it. Shout out to our DJ, Ryan! Wow, oofta, and OMG dude! For the challenging experience we had with the company, you were amazing - professional and courteous under pressure (you didn't have a lot to work with from the company unfortunately), flexible, and fun. Thank you for that! Music is a monster part of any wedding, and you made it happen! Thank you! If you ever start your own gig, let us know, I will def write you an awesome recommendation!
  • Priest and Pastor - Hindu & Lutheran Ceremony
    • We wanted to represent both of our cultures and our religions, and so we had a Hindi & Lutheran Wedding Ceremony, and it was so awesome! We didn't want to do one full ceremony and then the other full ceremony...it's all about working together and collaboration, and so we did piece by piece. Thank you to our Priest and Pastor for your flexibility in making our dream come true! Thank you for officiating our wedding - we are honored to have you!
    • Chaitanya Chandra Das Goswam
      • Hare Krishna Temple (http://krishnadenver.com)
    • Pastor Vera Guebert-Steward
      • Evergreen Lutheran Church (www.evergreenlutheran.org)
  • Car Guys
    • Our wedding party all came in awesome cars (OMG I know, right?!). Thank you to the following peeps for making that dream entrance come true - so appreciated!
      • Paul M. – Monte Carlo (drag car that me, the Bride, came in - OMG uber-awesomeness)!
      • Johnny F. – Chevy Impala
      • John F. – Hudson Hornet
      • David S. – 1937 Ford
      • Dave the Groom – 1961 Ford Fairlane (packed all the Groomsmen into it - check out the picture, it's hilarious!)
  • Decorations and Centerpieces
    • Woohoo to Michael's and Hobby Lobby - don't go there: you go in for 1 item, and leave with 50!
    • Shawn from Craigslist - thank you for the Malibu Blue!
    • My parents, Kamlesh and Nayna, my Mother-in-Law, Karla, and my Sister-in-Law, Jill: loved the decorations for both Friday and Saturday! Thank you so much - we so appreciate it! And thank you to everyone else who helped put them together!
  • Dresses
    • Cbazaar (www.cbazaar.com)
    • Loved my dresses! The ceremony dress was perfect, cuz' I wanted something to complement the Malibu Blue dresses that the Best Women (Bridesmaids) wore but I was resistant to the traditional wedding dress (do your own thing man!). And then the reception dress...the picture looks and even says in the description "pink," and it was red. Ughhers! Yes, red is the traditional color for the bridal wedding dress in the Hindu religion, and, well, don't get me started. It was all good though, shoutout to Cbazaar - loved the dresses!
  • Jewelry
    • Charming Charlie (www.charmingcharlie.com)
      • Nothing like getting your wedding jewelry 2 days before the big day! And I took Dave shopping with me (poor thing).
        • Check out chick was like "what's the occasion?"
        • Me: "My wedding."
        • Chick: "Oh congrats! When is it?"
        • Me: "Saturday" (this convo was on Thursday)
        • Chick: "Oh...nice. Cool. Well, that's awesome!"
    • Wedding necklace
      • There is a tradition in the Hindu Wedding Ceremony about the groom giving the bride a necklace, and since mine didn't come in time from India, my mom gave me hers. That was the one Dave put on me during our ceremony...her own wedding necklace! So cool.
  • Shoes
    • Another one of those "OMG crap, I should do something." Just like jewelry. I gotta be honest, I'm not a shoe chick. I love my tennis/running shoes (even though I do neither), and am pretty comfy. Heels are fine as long as they aren't skyscrapers. Like seriously man!
      • Shout out to my Mother-in-Law, Karla for my shoes for the ceremony and reception. She is an awesome fashionista, so I appreciate her help! She gave me her own shoes that she was going to wear. So appreciated! Thank you!
      • And DSW - dragged Dave in there one weekend and found some awesome deals in general (not wedding stuff). But they just ended up working out awesome for wedding stuff, so woohoo!
  • Tuxedos
    • Men’s Wearhouse
      • Okay, so when Dave tried on his tux, the shirt was so fluffy, he looked like a Musketeer! It was hilarious! But then they figured it out, and it was all good. Otherwise, thank you for the regular dudes-tux-stuff you do!
  • Best Women (Bridesmaids) Dresses
    • David’s Bridal
      • Mixed feelings...I've had good experiences, but a few of the dresses were messed up, etc. End of the day, it all worked out!
  • Massage
    • Spavia (www.spaviadayspa.com)
      • Loves! A couple massage, courtesy, of my sweetheart Mother-in-Law, Karla: OMG it was awesome! No words to describe the awww and awesome. Great customer service!
  • Nails
    • Venus Nails & Spa
      • Whoop whoop! Thank you for not throwing a fit when I am LOLing during my pedicure - it tickles!
      • Thank you to my Mother-in-Law, Karla, for this pampering before the wedding! It was perfect and just what I needed!
  • Prints
    • Shout out to Staples! Thank you for making things happen! Woohoo to you!
  • Car door
    • Did you sign our car door? If not, you need to come to MN so you can!
    • Shout out to our Groomsman, Shayne - thank you for taking the '61 out there and back, and for the car door - it looked awesome! Perfect color! We appreciate you!
  • Henna lady
    • Thank you to the henna lady from the temple - you did an awesome job! (she would like to remain anonymous)
  • Salon at Winter Park
    • OMG loves! Thank you for doing my hair and makeup for our engagement shoot! You guys were awesome and we thank you for your hospitality!
  • Winter Park Resort
    • Woohoo pre-wedding honeymoon! You're awesome! We love you cuz' no one else seems to go there and that is awesome for us. Great friendly town - appreciate your hospitality! We will come and see you soon!
