Anoka Halloween Parade

Date #12. Anoka is known as the the "Halloween Capital of the World!" Dave grew up in both Anoka and Moorhead. The parade was awesome!

Our 10th date...yep, I kept track on the calendar. Everything goes on the calendar when you're super busy! And super cheesy.

Our 6th Date...

...was hilarious! And lots of fun!

We'd planned to hang out this night, but I hadn't heard from him - he never returned my call or texts. He just didn't seem like the type of guy to stand me up. Did something happen to him? Or did I really just get "NEXTed" by this dude I kinda liked? And of course I didn't have a smart phone at the time to check if he'd emailed me or what.

I actually did end up checking my email at my parents' place...no email...but something told me to go anyway...he just wouldn't stand me up like that...and what do ya know - there he was! His phone had died, and he was scrambling to email me (which he did - it came after I'd checked it).

Was a blast! Fun 6th date!

Welcome to "The Stick Figure Life with Dave & Meghana!" Woohoo!

Nope, there wasn't an error on the Save the Date magnets you received - you're in the right spot. We chose a blogspot vs. a standard wedding page because we wanted something we can continue on after the "big day." It's a fun way to share info with your peeps! And hopefully we can build something we can share with our future family...

Why the "Stick Figure Life?" Stick figures are cute. They're fun. They're chill. They also scream "suburbanite." Check out Dave's car. And no, I didn't "make him" put them on. I simply suggested it, and he ran with it. LOL! 

Glad to have you here! We'll be (or I will be) updating info as we get closer and closer to our wedding day, so be sure to come back!
